I realise that many people, especially new beekeepers, will have already taken off at least one super, it’s very hard not to. Also, anyone in an area that grows Oil Seed Rape will have, of necessity, removed any supers that have received this wonderful honey. It has to be removed almost as fast as the bees put it in, otherwise it crystallizes in the comb and the only way to get at it then is to scrape each frame from each side down to the centre rib. Then you will need to separate the honey from the wax. Never mind you’ll remember next year.
